The service was accommodating and friendly. The cabin was very clean and modern, but not too modern so that it still maintained its rustic aesthetic. The location is beautiful and quiet. The cabins are right across the road from a small park, perfect for little kids. The property the cabins sit on has a small, shallow river running through it, which creates a peaceful setting.

The best part of these cabins is its "home away from home" feel. The peacefulness was so relaxing. I stayed in these cabins with a friend, but these cabins would also work for families and couples who just want to get out of town for a few days and relax.

I definitely recommend this place and plan to stay again some time in the future!

I am a Director of a four diamond hotel and I was very impressed with the condition and accommodations that the Cottonwood cabins provided. I generally can tell when someone takes pride in their operation and this place leaves no question. From the time we pulled up to the time we left was just amazing. From the friendly owners to the other guest made the trip enjoyable. I would recommend this operation to anyone who wants a clean and professional run cabin setting. Every detail in the cabins were carefully thought out and everything you need is there. "Everything." Thanks you made the trip enjoyable.
This is a charming place and a great stop if you're in the area. The cabins are spacious, comfortable, clean and provide all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen was very well equipped and beds quite comfortable. The owners were exceptionally friendly and nice with us. (We were hiking the Continental Divide Trail, so had no car and they helped us out with rides, etc., since the restaurants within walking distance were somewhat limited, especially for dinner.) We will definitely stop here again when we are in the area.

So glad we stayed here! cute, quaint and very Western "feel" in the three cabins on large and two smaller can accommodate 2-20 people near a park and great hiking. Nearby fishing and canoeing in Saratoga too (call Hack's tackle for guided trips or canoe rental!). We thought the 1940's cabin was cleaner than ANY hotel we've ever stayed in !! cable TV In all cabins... Karran was a great hostess and I think the rates are very reasonable, considering it's full kitchen and modern bath. The double beds were a little short for my 6'2" husband I should mention. ..nice to have a full fridge and freezer on hand, even though we didn't cook much but toast and coffee.

p.s. try the green mountain falls hike, if you're fit (3-4 miles, 3 hours round trip, rated moderate).
